Ruby grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and has fallen in love with Maine’s rural landscapes since moving there for college. Ruby graduated from Bates College with degrees in American Studies and Africana, and has spent the past year teaching children about the joy of nourishing food and the power of local food systems. If she’s not digging in the dirt or cooking up a meal with her roommates, you’ll likely find Ruby rambling in the mountains, taking a dip in the ocean, and soaking up the sun — always grounding in her love for the outdoors and the power of connection.
