Laura Bither is an intersectional climate justice activist with a zeal for community-based change. She graduated from Wesleyan University with High Honors in Biology and Environmental Studies and a minor in African Studies. As an AmeriCorps VISTA in Chelsea, MA, she broadened her understanding of the need for intersectional justice in affordable housing, public benefits, and financial education. The pandemic brought her back to Maine where she has been thrilled to work within the rich network of collaborative community organizations. Catch her competitively reading books, cooking for friends, taking any excuse to get outside, and convening with several local equity groups.
