Hailing from Jonesboro, Maine, Larissa Holland is a 2020 graduate of Smith College where she earned a degree in both Environmental Science & Policy and Architecture. At Smith, Larissa's student leadership in sustainability led her to be elected to the college’s Board on Sustainability and in 2019, Larissa was one of just 55 students in the U.S. to receive the prestigious Udall Scholarship, recognizing scholarship, leadership and a commitment to a career in the environment. In addition to her work with JMJU, Larissa is a Sustainability Consultant working to decarbonize and future proof the aviation sector. In addition to organizing around community health and climate justice, Larissa loves hosting dinner dress-up parties, cooking wild foods, and riding her second hand road bike through city centers.
