What Do We Do?

We are a youth-led movement of young people, ages 15-30, addressing our communities' biggest challenges through year-round organizing, state legislative action, and nonpartisan vote work. We lead meaningful opportunities for young people to have a critical voice in decisions being played out right now.

Where We Work

JustME for JustUS (JMJU) is led by young people ages 15-30 across rural Maine in Washington, Hancock, Penobscot, Franklin, Kennebec, Oxford, Aroostook, Piscataquis, and Somerset counties (highlighted in teal).

It’s important to me that young people feel empowered to be in the rooms where decisions are made. Many spaces (especially in academia) say they want youth voices but then create barriers or make those spaces inaccessible to youth. I want to change that.
