Elja is going into her junior year at Oxford Hills High School where she currently serves as class president. Growing up in Maine spending time outside with family has made her passionate about environmental advocacy and finding more sustainable ways we can interact with and live alongside our environment. She also cares deeply about youth having opportunities to have their voices heard and having a seat at the table. In her free time you can find her skiing, mountain biking, hiking, playing piano and spending time with friends and family.
