Within my John Bapst Community, I am VP of Key Club, and play soccer and tennis. I’ve grown up hiking Acadia National Park’s mountains (rain or shine), and will never get tired of them. Some of my hobbies include pickleball, thrifting, paddleboarding, and running. I believe the key to breaking down barriers on polarizing issues is treating every person with the respect they deserve. When a person feels seen and heard, making progress towards civic collaboration and education is made possible. I’ve recognized that many youth in rural Maine feel their voice doesn't matter, or hold as much weight as the older generations. I want to promote the message that our voice does matter, and we have the power to decide what Maine looks like in our future. I strive to promote equal opportunity among youth, along with advocating for greater voter education in schools.
